You guys have to see that guns easily available is a major problem. Which western country has the most guns easy available? Which western country has the most shooting per citzen, by far. I recommend that everyone rents the dvd, ELEPHANT, by Gus Van Sant. It is an incredible film about a mass shooting in a midwest highschool. It shows the psychological makeup of the two shooters. Wonderful acting, quite disturbing.

Some "Elephant" trivia - it was filmed in Portland, Oregon at a mothballed middle school. A niece of mine was one of the characters. Van Sant worked by laying out the scenes and general dialog and then let the actors improvise around that.
