allright: on the 25th i fly to london, arrive early in the am on the 26th (my birthday) and then on the 27th i go to nottingham to see the yeah yeah yeahs. then, on the 1st i fly to amsterdam and i have a free place to stay over by the van gogh museum....on the 4th i fly to london, switch planes and head back to chicago.
that's what i call a happy birthday. i'll have a proper housewarming party when i get back. i cannot put into words how lovely that place is.

Just wanted to mention that, yes, I did see the Tikwer film Heaven and liked it. It seemed to be one of the *fastest* films I've seen lately...I believe it was 1 1/2 hours but seemed like much less. Of course, Run Lola Run was, what, about 75 minutes?
I had a date last night, and it was pretty nice. We went to Jinx to see some of my friend's art which is up there. Then we just hung out and talked all night. Normally I'm not very good at doing that with someone I've just met, but it seemed to work this time, more or less.

As for Kafka....I still like The Metamorphosis even though class I have taken have kinda ruined it for me. The other one that I like is A Hunger Artist.
Good blaxploitation....."Black Belt Jones", check it out, starring Jim Kelly best known for his part in Enter the Dragon. I know who Rudy Ray More is, but I have never seen any of his movies.
