Aaaaaaah, I can resist the temptation no longer:
Your name is cecilweed you goddamn animal, i ought to take you out back and make you beat yourself with a rusty rake in the shed. get off the shed! for the love of god just get off the damn shed! oh man i am really tripping out here. i think my hands are made of wood,...

Yet another evening (3rd time this week!) spent sleeping, while there are much more important things I need to be doing.
I got my ticket to Georgia today, to go visit my friend. It's costing me an obscene amount of money, which I do not have.
I have to finish this book by the time I go, and at the rate I'm going, that is...

I'm not going to be able to make it tonight. The universe is against me.
I'm folding paper!
Actually, I'm folding and tearing paper. More to the point, I'm starting a bookmaking project that my lazy ass has been putting off for 2 or 3 months. It's about damn time.
Tearing the paper the way I have been has caused it to fold up in a strange way, which looks somewhat vaginal to me. The word itself makes some men...

I love that part.
I love that part.
Once again, my day yesterday was marked by a disturbing amount of sleep. I fell asleep around 8:30, and slept until about 3:30 in the morning. I suppose I should've gotten up then, and accomplished what I was planning to do yesterday, but I just stayed in bed until I had to get up for work.
I'm beginning to be a bit concerned. I have...

Yay for Dub Narcotic Sound System!
They put on a great show tonight, although not quite as good as the one I saw a few years ago in Madison. About half way through their set, I was marveling at Calvin Johnson's unique stage presence, so cool, yet completely and utterly dorky. Then Heather got out from behind her drum kit, sang a few songs, shook...

Insomnia sucks
My mind is racing a mile a minute, yet I have no words to put down here. Today has been like a tennis match between awesome and terrible, with me bouncing back and forth between the two.
And it refuses to end.

I paid for last night's insomnia by sleeping all day today.
What a mess.

The bowling gods were with me today. I had the thumb hole opened up a bit on my ball, so it doesn't rub against my knuckle so much when I bowl. The guy at the pro shop at Waveland is a riot. He's totally hardcore, and pretty damn entertaining.
I got out and bowled a couple of respectable games, then followed with...

Great, now you're going to slaughter us all at bowling....I want to bowl a turkey, but I have only gone back-to-back a couple times so I doubt it will happen anytime soon.
I get to do laundry tonight.....you know you're jealous.

Interesting day today.
I got to see a good movie (Rude Boy) for free today: thanks dollface! I wish I could've hung out longer, next time I'll try harder, I swear.
On the train ride home, I ran into a girl whom I actually met for the first time yesterday. Which wouldn't have been noteworthy except that as I was reading my book, she called...

I've run into people randomly when I have been in Chicago....and I don't even live there at all....maybe that means I visit too much.
My roomate has been working in London for the past few months (lucky bastard!) He's coming home tomorrow, for five days or so.
I've got to clean the place up a bit, hide some of my stuff that's been sprawling about, and bring back some of his stuff that I stashed away (the Star Wars toys get hidden while he's gone, sorry.)
Too bad I...

I got a couple of nice emails today. One from an old friend I haven't talked to in a few months. I called her on Saturday to take advantage of free long distance from work. I just left a message, and it turns out that it was her birthday. I had no idea, so it was kind of interesting.

are you using the track bike in the city with sew-ups? that would be crazy, but there are a few shops around that carry em and actually know how to work with them. I'll probably do some riding on the limestone trails around aragon labs early on saturday. the traffic here really isn't that bad for biking, just keep your eyes open and you'll be fine.
ohhhh so sad!
