You know, I was wondering why people put themselves in their Friends list...just now, going through your previous journals, I realized it was a quick, easy way to jump to the new journal entry.
I guess I should do it myself, but I have some psychological issues about being friends with myself. I try to figure out if I hate myself sometimes. I dunno. (Janeane Garofalo's production company is "I Hate Myself Productions".) I should probably forget the psychology crap and just do it for a useful link.

How was the show?

I downloaded and burned the Detroit Cobras cd's, I just have not gotten around to listening to them.

I painted it a really nice shade of medium blue called "Jazz". (The ceiling was already dark blue with glow-in-the-dark stars stuck all over it, so I continued the theme). I'm also doing some trim work. It'll be really cool once I'm finished.

Hey, I copied this interview clip (from Gutless zine) with Amy, Yoshi and Wyatt off of the Aislers Set site:

S: Im good at that. How did you come up with the name the Aislers Set. Whats it mean?
A: It doesnt mean anything.
S: Whys there no apostrophe?
A: I dont know(laughs)its not possessive.
Y: Its not a proper noun. It sounds good!
S: I took a grammar class last semester.
A: I was just falling asleep and I thought of the name.
S: Its a good name. It looks good on a flyer.
W: Its been a source of I dont think any of us really realized what kind of trouble wed have with itpeople trying to pronounce it and whatnot.
S: How do people mispronounce it? Aizlers Set?
W: Yeah, Aizlers is the usual one
S: Dont people know that an aisle in a movie theater is pronounced aisle with a silent s?
W: I guess not!
Y: Youd figure they would, but no. Its really surprising.
A: Alicias coming maybe you should wait to ask more questions.

I try not to use "like" sparingly in sentences, but (I understand some qualify this as a "hate crime" on the site) I occasionally will use "gay" as a pejorative. I figure proclaiming lust at Conor Oberst and Jarvis Cocker oughta cut me some slack...
