Okay, so I just walked to the bike shop to buy a helmet, and as I was walking home, I came about a foot away from being run down by some jackass car.

Do you think someone is trying to tell me something?

krista:
Does shocking yourself involve vibrators? It does for me.

Nobody is trying to tell you a thing. We live in chaos.
krista:
But that is simply because the driver of said car is some sort of a-hole.

I could not exist without toys....better than therapy.

Yay! I managed to get two days off of work this week, instead of the usual one.
How am I going to keep myself busy tomorrow, without having to surrender 8 hours to my lame-ass job?
Give me ideas!!

Ach. Much decadence tonight. Amazingly good scallops, shrimp, and of course my favorite, lamb. Not to mention some of the best Champagne I've ever tasted.
Suffice to say: I've been spoiled. And now I'm going to sit back and enjoy the satiation.

Damn, I was totally in the mood to see Heavy Metal Parking Lot today, but it wasn't in at the video store. I haven't seen it before, but I'm sure it's gonna be great. Hopefully I can pick it up tomorrow.
Sadly, that is the most interesting thing I can think of to say right now...

today i started watching liquid sky. very weird movie, but i am a sucker for 80's drug addicts and fucked up music. did you see cat power this weekend? i would have if it wasn't at the abbey. such a bitch to get to if you don't have a car.

for some reason, i am brilliant at meeting people everywhere. everywhere but in chicago. my 2 month curse began here. and my subsequent 'one date only' curse.

Yay, my first day off in two weeks!
I rounded up some materials for a project or two, which I've been putting off for too long.
I watched Rock N Roll High School. What a fun movie. The last time I saw it was in a drive-in theatre in Wisconsin, when I was about 7 years old. Amazingly, I remembered a lot of the movie...

Sometimes the most pleasant people can be the most difficult to get along with.
Sometimes the most difficult people can be the most pleasant.
Soemetimes being bored is very fun.
Sometimes having fun is very boring.

And then there's days like today, where I'm just sick of it all.
The only remedy is The Passion of Joan of Arc and My Bloody Valentine. I'm taking...

There were many mullets to be seen in my school, though usually they were attached to boys who'd take several weeks off in the winter to go hunting.

I have a new name, so there. But don't worry, I'm still the same old Puer!

I've been reflecting on some of the things I noticed while seeing my family this weekend:
A lot of my bad habits are things that I obviously learned or inherited from them, which is understandable. We're all lazy, depressed drunks, for example.
Then there are things about me that...

Stultus puer. Heh.
nopantsdave:
How can you subject yourself to Slayer?

Speaking of bad 80's bands....I was driving the other day and this guy in camaro pulled right out in front of me...I was annoyed until I saw his license plate said "Rockin" and when I got up next to him he had hair like Kip Winger, I was to amused to be upset at that point.

I listened to Life, Love and Learning yesterday, good stuf indeed.
