Positive Energy
A friend reminded me of this little thought and I wish to share it. More and more I try to avoid people with negative energy. I think I had a hard time seeing it when I was younger. But now, I can get a sense very quickly if somebody is blending with my own energy....or sucking the life out of me. There is a guy I work with who is generally a positive guy but he has this habit of groaning about not wishing to be at work. I'm the first to admit that I would rather be someplace else, but since that is unlikely, I would rather find ways to make my job more and more rewarding. I now find myself avoiding him in the mornings so that he doesn't suck the wind out of my sails before I even get started!!
I don't mean that people should always be in this plastic-wrapped, bubbly mood. That would be too freaky. I just enjoy people who have that certain something about them that helps you get through your day.
