It's nice to see you're still around, how have things been with you lately?
The self-serving, self-absorbed jerk I was dating several months ago is talking to me again, and a couple nights ago he told me all about his latest fling, sparing me no details. In a nutshell, he's been involved in a highly-passionate relationship with this woman. Amazing sex, hours of conversation, excitement, etc...Well, reality has kicked them both in the ass, and issues are beginning to surface. She's decided to stop having sex with him, and he can't handle it. He pulled some nasty, manipulating guilt-trip bullshit with her one night when he couldn't control himself, and told her the lack of sex made him feel unloved. He said this knowing full and well that she's had serious issues with men. So since then, she's not sure if they can actually maintain the relationship, and it scares the shit out him, because he's become so emotionally involved with her, and the ball is now in her court. Maybe I'm a selfish bitch for saying it, but after the way he treated me, I feel totally vindicated by his karmic suffering. I made a point of telling him that too!
As for that thing I was hoping for, that was a job as a line-producer at another production company, but that didn't work out. So as it stands, I'm still applying for other jobs....hopefully I can find a new one by the fall!
