I was sitting at my desk with my morning coffee yesterday when the phone rang ... it was a friend with astounding news. We ? the American people ? now know that the current nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Harriet Miers, has demonstrated a bias against abortion rights .

How do we know this? A questionnaire Miers completed for an anti-choice group (Texans United for Life) has just been released.
As I looked down through this chilling questionnaire, and saw the row of stark "Yes" answers marked off, I knew I had to stop and take a moment to reach out to you. The release of this questionnaire sends a clear and chilling signal about how Harriet Miers would act if confirmed as the next Supreme Court justice.
Tell Your Friends. Harriet Miers' confirmation hearings are fast approaching ? and we must gather together to raise a loud and large chorus of voices for choice, for health, and for safety ? as quickly as we possibly can. Reach out to 10 of your friends and ask them to stand up for choice.
