Well bugger me it's cold. Another season, another excuse to fork out for stuff that you had last year and thought you still had until you go to look for it when in fact you find that moths/dog/(pet)rats/housemates have eaten large holes in the crotch and nipple areas. Not that I own anything that covers both of these at the same time. Honest.
Another season to freeze on the way to and from the tube station only to sweat through every layer gripping on to the nearest commuter, hoping that this isn't going to be the next high speed derailment.
Another season in which you are forced to wear a hat even tho they make your hair itch, give you hat head and are far too insulating anyway.
And then a last leaf falls, lands in a puddle reflecting the afternoon sunset and comes to rest at your feet.
God I love Winter.
