Ugh! I just finished grilling 100 bratwurst for one of our regular "lunch on the lawn" events here at the Vet School. My eyes are soooooooo burny right now from all the smoke and grease. That's an amazing story about the screech owl. I probably wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it either. That's amazing that it was smart enough to stay away from moving parts in that engine. it makes me wonder if he was standing there going "Hmm, that's a might bit warm on my feet!" and start dancing around during the drive. Hehe. Sorry, I have a bad habit of putting words into animals mouths but I don't know many animal people that don't .
Thank you. I am happy with our conclusion. He gave me everything and I'm still on the checking and savings account for emergencies. We're already planning for me to come back in a few weeks to help him move out of this place.
I've gotten absolutely buried with pictures to edit lately. 2 sets of senior pictures, 14 family portraits, one SG set shot and another shooting on Saturday, about to get the order from a wedding I shot a while back (will be huge, I'm sure!), and probably some more aerial photography. yeah, this whole thing sucks but what am i gonna do? just keep at it... i know he won't change unless it's for the worse so there isn't much motivation to stay after i know i'm not putting myself out or under more hardship and if things do go that way, i'll have more money than i have now while living with the man. i will finally be able to replace my $750 car (i've had it for a year and a half and i'm really hard on older cars) and i know my parents will be more than willing to babysit when i need "a day out"
Well, last night my son and I and one of his buddies went to the Tool concert in Kansas City. Wow!!! They put on a totally awesome show. We're back from Mexico, and I'm almost after the Montezuma's Revenge (which thankfully didn't really hit until we got home!). Lots to talk about, I'm sure, but instead I'm gonna make this an all picture entry. See if it will let me actually post this many pictures -- some of my favoirtes from the Bikini Jam.
I.....LOVE......the spinal tap picture. I love it so much, in fact, that I'd love to print it off (with your permission) and give it to my neurologist who always jokes with me about my back tattoos being off center. I think he'd have tremendous appreciation for that picture.
