Life has been keeping me busy lately. I sooooooo behind at work, and really unmotivated to do what I need to there. At home I've been spending a lot longer than I wanted getting display units ready for the summer art show(s). And I've got sooooo many pictures to get done and out the door. And I've got a bunch of music to get transcribed and transposed. And I really need to do more picture-taking..... le sigh.
It's nice to be busy, but it's also a little crazy-making. And for me a little mishegoss goes a long way, as I'm already pretty mishugge (or maybe just farshimmelt).
I also want to work on a new picture of myself. This one is getting old and is just a little too cheesy. I can do better. 
Maybe in the next couple weeks.
I found out I'm going to have yet ANOTHER thing vying for my attention. A nominal 10% of my work time is now going to be spent chairing a standards body for a computer language (MUMPS). That should prove interesting. I've done it before, but this is a different formulation of the group. Much more streamlined, and requiring more work from the chair. 
No more Pirates of the MDC! AAARRRrrrrr!!! 
Well, that's about it, I guess. Time to go home and wash the smoke and grease out of my pores.
