I saw a picture of him with his child that warmed my blood. It was the first time I had seen him not alone. It was the first time I had seen him with a home.
He has not sent for me.
I never liked his letters. They always seemed impersonal. I hated them, in fact. I'd wait weeks for what I thought would be an answer to something, and would only recieve a summary of the latest goings-on.
Will he ever miss me?
He's a quiet thing. Compounded by darkness. He likes it in the cracks. I can tell he likes it. He opened me a thousand times over and never asked a single thing. He seemed to take it all as one big laundry pile of love.
Like I miss him.
