this weekend i have the pleasure of hosting my good friend icmn and two other friends...'bout time since i've already been to his place twice. anyway, it'll be a weekend of utter nerdery of which we will tell no one (unless they ask).
in other news my dad just got a liver transplant. the surgery was apparently a big success, though he's in a lot of pain now. but it's just a matter of time before he's a lot better and will be able to drink another 50 years worth of booze (not).
