i actually got comments from not one, but TWO of my favorite SGs, so i'm just going to edit this last entry. that totally made my day. 
i think synchronized swimming has got to go. i know it takes a lot of skill, but it's more than a little silly. and the way the swimmers all have that same fake beauty queen smile plastered on their face just makes it so hard for me to watch. and don't even get me started on the commentators. ok, they don't have to totally nix the event, just show less on TV. show some fencing, or judo, or even archery, for pity's sake.
it's a really nice night. the moon is almost full, and there no clouds. one of the things i really like about the country is being able to see the stars.
