Note to self: do not vow to be more responsible financially and then go to the damn record store. (Peter Himmelman, John Dee Graham, Carter Family, Americana compilation, Joe Strummer) So much for THAT paycheck........

Oh, and I'm going to see Etta James on Wednesday. Etta is a goddess, and I am so damned looking forward to her show.

And then on Saturday, Chris Whitley at the Cactus. LOVE the Cactus, there just isn't a bad seat.

Youre seeing Etta James!!! Man, I am so jealous. I saw her at the House of Blues in Hollywood a couple years ago and that was one fantastic show.
