Hahaha. I scrolled up to see which girl you were talking about. Dork.
Our regional groups (Kalamazoo and Detroit) throw FITS if we don't have multiple board games to choose from. We usually get a few going at once. Last night, we played Candyland, Chutes and Ladders, Trivial Pursuit, Sorry, and Scattergories, along with MonkeyBall on the GameCube (they were doing that while some of us played board games). When we have our New Year's Eve party at the cabin, we'll probably have three times that many, along with three decks of cards.
It's tough to spend significant amounts of money on things you aren't very enthusiastic about.
It's hard to spend $350 for a flight to Calgary when you aren't too excited to go there for Christmas. Again. I don't really care much for Christmas anyway and I always end up being really bored when I'm there. These people don't do anything and Calgary as a whole... Read More
I've been a bad boy with food and drink lately. Last night it was Hamberger Helper--yes, ground beef and chemicals; it's a guilty pleasure--with Pepsi and a donut for dessert. This morning, breakfast was a banana and another donut. And coffee, of course. Then, after spending the afternoon finishing off a crappy paper, off to the campus pub for beer and a chicken club sandwhich... Read More
Writing philosophy papers at the last minute is really not the most effective way of getting a good grade. So let thet be a lesson to you.
The one course I was wait-listed for for the next semester got bumped up and now I'm in--the Politics of Development. I registered for American Politcs as a backup so I'll have to drop that, although I've gotten... Read More
Had the weirdest dream last night. My old appartment building sank into some sort of hole. The front facade and the rear wall were still there but everything else was just gone, swallowed up by the earth. And I was thinking, gee, it's a good thing I didn't live there anymore; I lived in a groundlevel unit and if I had been home when it... Read More
Shit. I just deleted your post by accident! DUH!
Anyway....chocolate sounds really great and pasteries for that matter. I've never tried bread either although my mom used to make homemade bread all the time. She makes a wicked beer bread with Heineiken(sp?)
I just wrote my third philosophy paper in the night before it was due. You'd think I'd learn not to do that, but I don't. Also, I just learned how to do this. I'm gonna do it all the time now.

Look up "hypersensitive" and you'll see a picture of me.
Not that kind of sensitive--well, okay, that kind a little bit--but it doesn't seem to take that much for me to go from happy guy to angry depressed guy.
And the day wasn't really that bad, either.
Fuck it. I'm gonna get drunk and watch a movie.
Is "Snake Eyes" good? I hope so, 'cause... Read More
I've had a bucket full of raspberry wine fermenting away for about three weeks now--and I have to get around to bottling it one of these days--and today I got a batch of beer going. I'm going to be awash in booze in a few weeks.
