man, i just fell asleep on the couch and had the weirdest dream.
i was back in my childhood house - and i was somehow involved in cleaning up the remains of two dead people that, in the odd logic of dreams, had been sacrificed to some higher (lower?) power by myself and this bumbling, two-footed and winged demon buddy of mine in the garage.
an old friend of mine was walking up the street at one point, and i went through all sorts of shenanigans to get the blood and bodies and demon hidden before he got to my house. the whole thing was treated like some sort of splatter-comedy in my dream - the sacrifices had already happened (and they must have been gruesome, as one of the bodies was like, cleaved in half already) and the main focus was me and this talking demon haphazardly trying to clean up the mess - and i was trying to get the demon to do most of the work...
way bizarre. i woke up rather amused by the whole thing, but still a little uncomfortable. i mean, to wake up and think, "why didn't i just wrap them in trash bags and drive them out of state" is just creepy.
anyway. back to our regularly scheduled life now...
