so all yesterday was burned up in a haze of xmas shopping - malls devour time, i found.
but, i was rather successful. given i won't have a lot of free time between now and the holiday, it was necessary and productive.
today i am just being a lump at home - i feel like a hermit, haven't talked to anyone in the last 36 hours really. but it's been good and enjoyable.
