boy was it the wrong day to come into work hung over. i had just started getting settled in, after some calls to the boys to fill in some of the blank spaces from the night before, when it started raining in a BIG way.

now we've had flooding in the basement of the store before, but today, it was incredible. it came in fast and got up to a level i'd never seen before. if it had gone up any higher, there would have been more damage than i care to think about. as it is, i think we survived alright, but won't really know until a bigger crew is around to do the clean up tomorrow. lots of wet, lots of mud, lots of soggy cardboard... it's going to be a hoot, i tell you.
