it seems i miss more shows than i see these days, it's depressing. my lazy ass probably won't make it out to Opeth tonight, either. blah.
but then another good note - i'm happy about the Sox. (even though i was stuck watching the interminable extra innings last night) they're making friends of mine happy by winning, and so it makes me happy, too.
it also means that basketball season is right around the corner, yo.

I have a pretty busy weekend. Friday is normal...work, laundry, sleep. Saturday I'm meeting up with one of my (cool) ex's and we're gonna meet up with my best friend out in Indiana to go see Local H. Then I'm going to attempt to marathon my ass back into Chicago after the show in time to appear at the Elora household's halloween party. I'm kinda worried about the time/travel/fatigue factor in that one though... Sunday I will send the ex back off to the burbs and head out to see my friend's band play a show down around 103rd and Harlem, and then after that...Quenchers probably. I always freak out when I know I'm gonna be super busy. i don't know how much longer I can take being the center of the universe
