So I'm going to see Surly in October and we're going to visit his family in Hawaii for a week. Then at the end of October I'm coming out to LA to visit for the halloween weekend. Halloween is like Christmas for my puffin. 
Update: And three hours after I bought my tickets, Northwest mechanics go on strike. Sounds like the airline's in it for the long haul as they say they've got replacement workers for the mechanics AND flight attendants, anticipating the flight attendants union going out in sympathy. So now I'm worried about a scab servicing my airplane AND the fact that I'm supporting a company who uses scabs.
