So, it's about 45 degrees centigrade hotter than hell here today. I think for you americans, the humidex rates it at 116 with humidity. 90 degrees without factoring humidity. I'm currently sitting at my computer, melting... slowly.
I had intentions of working out when I left my indentured slavery and returned home. Having spent half an hour in my unairconditioned apartment, the desire has slowly evaporated. I think I am destined to be shaped like shmoo for some time to come.
Work slipped by like a slow Pavulon drip. I'm currently on page 400 of that book with Walden and other essays. When Thoreau quotes from Homer, I find myself trying to understand the quotations, but only half getting them. Earlier, in Walden, Thoreau suggests that everyone should read the Iliad in the original greek at some point in their life. I suspect I will never get around to that.

Sadly, there is not time to do everything. It's easy to feel cheated, isn't it?
