And who by fire, who by water,
who in the sunshine, who in the night time,
who by high ordeal, who by common trial,
who in your merry merry month of may,
who by very slow decay,
and who shall I say is calling?
And who in her lonely slip, who by barbituate,
who in these realms of love, who by something blunt,
and who by avalanche, who by powder,
who for his greed, who for his hunger,
and who shall I say is calling?
And who by brave assent, who by accident,
who in solitude, who in this mirror,
who by his lady's command, who by his own hand,
who in mortal chains, who in power,
and who shall I say is calling?
-Who By Fire by Leonard Cohen
It appears I'm not going to a halloween party. S cancelled, and T has been canoodling with J and says he's "sore and tired." Yeah, I bet he's sore and tired.
I'm flat broke so cannot even go prowl a club by myself. *sigh*
I'm resorting to listening to moody music and taking pictures of myself as a boy, well as the boy I wish to be sometimes. Maybe I should get in touch with my inner butch. Fact of the matter is, I'm a passable girl and would likely make a passable boy. I wish I could be both, or neither at times.
I've recently met someone I feel comfortable in my gender with for the first time in my life. It's an amazing feeling. I've never been with anyone before who feels this ok with my gender expressive flexibility. This person is amazing. I hope hope HOPE it works. *knocks on wood and throws salt over shoulder*
Ok I gotta stop thinking about it before I dork things up. I'm terrible that way. Suffice it to say that a certain little vampire has rocked my world, and I haven't even touched him.
He turns up here on November 19th, 10:30 am. I am petrified.
