"Dear Prudence open up your eyes.
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies.
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything.
Dear Prudence wont you open up your eyes?
Look around round
Look around round round
Look around."
-Dear Prudence by The Beatles
Hi.
I got back yesterday from staying at my mom's. She begged me to continue staying there, but after two weeks, it felt like she was starting to depend on me. I thought it was the best for both of us if I come home.
That, and I was crawling the walls. I'm used to living alone.
I'm going back to see her tomorrow, to put out her garbage and recycling and see if she needs anything cooked.
She's doing pretty well. She has some water on one lung, which apparently occurs with chest trauma from the operation. Hopefully she'll be better soon.
I got my lip pierced last Tuesday. We marked it and remarked it so many times, I think I wore my piercist's arm out. It was wobbling by the time he did the piercing. It hurt quite intensely: lovely icy pain.
It's slightly offcentre, leaning to my left on the bottom bead. Sorta askew. Sorta like me.
I posted a few more in my vanity folder.
I'll be around to read your journals in the next day or so. I missed you all.

im glad your mom is doing alright, no ones been killed (like her...this is projection, warning, but as close as my mother and i are we would be prone to violence if one was made to care for the other) and very glad youre doing alright
