I've had empowering realizations over the past week or so K has been here.
I love him intensely and likely always will.
he is deeply in love with another woman and likely always will be. She's a firecracker: beautiful, smart, silly.
I learning more about another and feeling very passionate towards this person. I could see myself having a longterm open thing with him. If he felt the same way, I'd be a happy woman.
K and I don't need exclusive domain over each other or need to define what we feel.
I realize that gender means very little to me in defining my attractions.
I think I'm going to spend the next year working my ass off, paying down debts and taking french courses.
Next fall, I'll move to Vancouver, take more french. check out science courses. hang out with my ex. hopefully learn more about the other person, I'll call him Mr. X.
And I've been thinking about procreation. After spending my entire life saying I don't want a kid, I've decided I'm not entirely against it.
I'm 35. It's unlikely it will happen, but if I get pregnant, I'll have a kid. K and I have talked, and we don't see what the big deal about having kids with a few people is. And to that end, I don't see why he couldn't have a child with his woman someday. As long as everyone involved puts the children first. I think being a child with two or three moms or dads who care about you, can't be a bad thing.
Having said that, I'm not aiming to have a child. I think that I would be a good parent though. Thanks for listening to me jimmyjoe. You've given me the guts to take the situation on if it happens.
my ultimate goals are to move to montreal and to get a science degree. If it takes me til I'm 80, so be it.
on the job front, those of you who remember my 3 day job interview will be happy to hear I scored really well and they liked me. The next time an acting position as supervisor at the plant comes up, they'll offer it to me.

Congrats on the realizations and interview. Good luck with the courses, the debt, and Mr X
