amazing.
so this was their last show of the tour and that meant that the performers had a lot of extra energy ... plus seattle hadn't seen ani in a long time so the crowd was insane for her. the energy was fucking off the wall.
the room was filled to the brim feminists and lesbians (and OFCOURSE feministlesbians!) and it made me really happy! it was like the power of Woman was harnessed inside this small building!
ani totally made me feel emotional on more than one occasion. she knows how to put words together, fo sho.
something i didn't know, which was a fucking awesome surprise, was that animal prufrock (from bitch & animal) was the opener with poet Judy Grahn! animal was sooooo sillycrazyexcited! hehe. it was great. she even danced around ani and tore off her clothes for the last song...
anyway... a great night! i'm glad i'm missing sleep for going to it!
