The week has been all about regrouping and gathering strength.
Physically and mentally and emotionally, the process of sorting, packing, loading, and moving took a lot out of me. So the week has helped me recharge as well as heal. While job leads haven't been popping up that frequently this week, I'm still hopeful.
First my state and then today my federal tax refunds arrived (I love the e-file system), so I can get things done that I've needed to, and I have money to save when all is said and done.
I also got my ticket to Burning Man this week, as well as ordered the most recent CD from Lorin. I'm spoiled in that my circle of friends includes some of the best DJ's out there. Lately I've been into a lot of breakbeat and tribal sounds, some of it a bit darker and heavier. Lorin is one of my absolute favorite artists. I'm fortunate enough to have seen him perform half a dozen times since August, and now I'm very glad to be able to support his work by buying a copy of Diverse Systems Of Throb. It only comes out to be like $12.50 with shipping, you may want to check it out.
I've also gotten to know a few people better this week, thanks to all this technology we wrap around our lives. I'm excited for a couple road trips back to LA that I'm planning, as well. Despite a number of setbacks in my life, I will not be stopped.
I've got some errands to run and things to tend to before going out tonight, and then some sort of fetish ball with another friend tomorrow night. I still haven't heard anything from the Arizona group, but it might just be one of those regionals that doesn't have a lot going on.
And looking back, it just dawned on my that my site birthday was this week. 2 years here - my, how time flies!
Have a great weekend!

I think Phoenix is big enough to support a sizeable fetish community, but definitely come back to LA for the real awesome stuff.
Last time I checked, they didn't have a Mr. S in Phoenix!
