On Saturday, a rally was staged in Washington, DC to protest the war in Iraq. An estimated hundred thousand Americans turned out.
On Sunday, a rally was staged in Washington, DC by supporters of the war in Iraq. An estimated four hundred Americans turned out.

We're about to set sail! Tonight we finish work on the ship (or at least all the parts that we can do in drydock. Once we arrive in the desert there's still some final assembly work for the outer hull, but that shouldn't take too terribly long.
Once we finish up, we have to organize all that we're taking, and then load up the ship....

I hope you might still be able to be in LA October 1st. I'm still doing that Party for my Brother, and I'd really love it if you could come.
Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to arrange all the insanities we once discussed, but just the current insanities seem like enough to me right now.
-Anyhow, I'd really love it if you could come, as I'm trying to invite all of my close friends from LA.

But he has a girlfriend, and they aren't getting on so well. They're very much in love, though... just dealing with distance (she just left for MSU, and he goes to EMU). I wouldn't DARE pursue someone who is in a relationship, especially one of 2.5 years, so that's why he's "forbidden fruit".
Anyway, he told me, tonight, that he suspected I had feelings for him. I said, "I won't lie. I do, but I would never, ever try anything while you're in love with someone. That's not right. I won't be a homewrecker, so to speak. I can't do that to someone." He thanked me for respecting that and said he considered me a very good friend and didn't feel weirded out or anything (I was pretty embarrassed).
