Lately I have this amazing ability to be attracted to women that fall into three different categories:
1) Women that have complete douchebag boyfriends.
2) Women that are completely batshit crazy.
3) Some combination of the above two, up to and including women that recently had complete douchebag boyfriends.
It's pretty annoying.
p.s.: If you're reading this, you aren't a douchebag. Just so you know....

Sadly, I can relate... just change women to men, boyfriend to girlfriend and include the fact that I'm almost guaranteed to fall completely in love with them... they need to invent some sort of pill...

bitches aint shit but hos and tricks.
I've seen some movies in the past few days.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - I really liked this one. I also really liiked the other two. My only complaint with World's End is that the end scene seemed to drag a bit. Most of the people that I've talked to that didn't like this one have said something about the plot being...

WHO DARES TO OPERATE A WEED WHACKER RIGHT OUTSIDE MY WINDOW AT 9 IN THE MORNING ON MY DAY OFF?!?
I was having this really weird dream about a zoo that had this animal that could change into other animals. So far it had only been a frog, and elephant, and a tiger.
Stupid weedwhacker!

That is so fucked up. That's one of the few things I loved about Southern Oregon- not really much more rainfall than California. The thing is, it rains a lot here, but it's not cold, dreary rain. Maybe that's why Seattle gets more of the rainy reputation.
geckogirl:
my across the street neighbor busts out either the leaf blower or the pressure washer every weekend. i cant believe its legal to use that much water for cosmetic reasons.
Seattle Semi Pro Wrestling is fucking awesome.

Hey, you have to do the 3 star (haha my ass) hotel thing sometimes, right? Is there a secret to getting a decent room? Like, one that doesn't smell would be nice. I always get the shite rooms. Always. I think people in the service industry hate me. I don't want to have to switch rooms this time.

The suck of it is there's a bunch of us going for training so they have a certain hotel they always use. It's one of those that USED to be a Best Western but now isn't even that. I always get the "non-smoking" room that someone smoked to death the last time they were in it.
I don't want to be the asshole who checks in at the front desk all "I would like a clean room pleeeeease" but I feel like I have to be. Maybe I could be all smoov and slip the desk girl a dollah.

Hehe. Yeah. Until a month ago, I lived across the water from it. You couldn't quite see it from my house, but from my back yard you could. Beautiful, huh?

Thanks, Jarrod.

I love how rain smells in the spring.
Not just how rain smells, though. Rain in Seattle doesn't usually have a smell, but today it smelled like spring. It smells like...being a kid. Thunderstorms. I miss thunderstorms and lightning bugs and tornado season.
Not a lot, and not all the time, but I do miss them. I have to get back to Tennessee this summer....

When I've been in Ohio for a while and then I go home to Ga, I notice that the air actually smells sweeter there. But then again, it's my home.
kestrel:
On purpose?
I hate those days when you come home from work and don't even bother changing out of work clothes before you go to bed, and you have to be back at work when you wake up.
I'm inching ever closer to figuring out what I'm going to do about my work situation. I think a long vacation is in there somewhere.

i'm right there with you. i almost passed out in my working whites last night, and now i'm putting off even going back in. it'd be better if they scheduled watch qualifications like real watches, instead i'm left with the ability to procrastinate. terrible, terrible idea.
Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable, or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
Those of you who know me well may be aware that I listen to some pretty sappy music nowadays. Those of you who are regular readers may know that I have been slightly heartbroken as of late. I think I'm over it, if only for...

At first I read that as being "getting a job as a bareback" and I was really really confused.
I'll get the fuck over it eventually but it still kind of hurts and I'm irritated.
The smallness of my social circle has become blindingly obvious to me lately. I need more friends that I hang out with regularly.

I need more friends that don't encourage me to drink myself into douche-itude.
I'm frustrated, but I feel like I have spoken my mind, which is something I usually avoid. That much I am proud of.
It annoys me that I sometimes don't think of what I mean to say until well after the fact.
Thanks to all you guys for being supportive.

I've lately been learning the frustrations in speaking the mind. I can fully sympathize with you.
