The first time I tried to leave a funny message for a friend, they answered the phone. That was the end of my funny-message-leaving career. Be glad you still have the will to try.
You should record them yourself as well. That way, when they tell you they just deleted it you can be like, "Ha! I outsmarted you! Listen to this!" and then you play it for them.

That was what made up my mind, because I'm a news whore. Sirius has 3 NPR stations and 2 BBC stations (3 if you know Spanish), plus PRI. XM only has the one NPR station, and most of their other programming looked about the same.
If Sirius came out with a portable like XM's, I would find 300 bones somewhere to buy it. Now if only Apple would find a way to put a receiver in an iPod...
