I had a slight disappointmen with the state of Washington today. Bottle rockets and firecrackers are illegal here. Back in Tennessee there are fireworks stores open all year round that ADVERTISE super cheap bottle rockets and firecrackers. I don't understand it, because you can still get roman candles, and my all-time favorite, mortar shells. When I was in high school I used to take an aluminum baseball bat, saw off the end of it so it's just a tube with a handle, and drive around residential areas shooting mortars from the baseball bat at people's houses. It was fun, but destructive times. No bottle rockets or firecrackers? I guess it goes to show you that dumb americans have more of a liking for blowing shit up. I love this state, regardless of its fireworks laws.
