Because you aren't old. kiss

I forgot about that newfangled thing called re-runs. Unless you were watching SNL when you were like 9, because then...cool. biggrin

I'll bet it was actually buried in your subconscious. I'll bet a lot of us are prone to sticking nonsense things on our heads since we've seen that. tongue

PS Have I told you that your facial hair is awesome? Because it is.

Ugh, I'm siiiiiick. The heat is blasting and I still feel freezing cold. I'm not barfing yet, so that's good.

My hairline is officially receding.

Other than that things are pretty okay. I bought the novel High Fidelity yesterday, I think I'll read that for Christmas.

Merry Christmas and all that jazz.

Shake and bake.

EDIT: My fever broke shortly after I wrote this. And...

Replacing a car battery is way more of a pain in the ass than it should be.

Amy's brand vegan TV dinners are nowhere near as bad as I thought they were going to be. They're not the greatest thing in the world, but they certainly don't suck. Much.

The weather recently has been horrid. I've mentioned this a lot recently, but it bears repeating....

I just cleaned my room.

If you're not impressed you're either an overachiever or you've never seen my room.

-Driving to Medford, Oregon today for work. This will allow me to finish up the audiobook copy of Freakanomics that I started on last month. Also, I might get to hang out with Hopey even though she totally doesn't know I'm coming down there yet.

-Flying to Miami, FL for work next week. This will allow me to work on that short story to where...

I really liked that I could show you guys how cool I am with my last.fm before. Now I have to pretend I'm cool in other ways. I'll get back to you as soon as I figure those other ways out. Also, go add me on last.fm if you're on there because I imagine that it's a much easier way to get musical recommendations that...

Yeah, telling people that you're writing something is a good way to sound like a pretentious ass AND not follow through actually doing it. Remember when I said I was writing a novel?

Tuffy is the SGSF group leader, though, which means he acts just like freckle and will find you a place to stay, arrange entertainment, lend you his car, make home-cooked meals for you, etcetera. SG is moving into Diner's Club territory.

I just picked up Guitar Hero 2 tonight. I managed to get through medium level but now I might have to have metal rods put in my wrists. Ow!

Holy crap, it's Friday? I thought it was Thursday. I'm not really sure how that happened. I need to do something extremely productive to make up for that. I think I "missed" a teleconference call this morning too. Oh well.

Someone should help me clean my room and then buy me a burrito. kthnx.

Wait, I changed my mind. I want Thai.

Oh, and I...

If you had told me yesterday that today I'd be rocking out to Boston's More Than A Feeling, I would have called you a big fat liar. Things being as they are, however, I spent a great deal of today doing said rocking. Damn you Guitar Hero. My favorite thing about the game so far is that you can set it up to play left...

Yeah, that's probably the hardest one I tried on medium. Probably the most fun was playing 'Take Me Out" on hard with two players.

I went to buy Guitar Hero last night but I-5 was so backed up from the weather I couldn't make it to Best Buy in time. I'll probably wait until my card cycles on the 2nd but we could play after that.

Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny was pretty good. The original album and the TV show were better in my opinion, but it's still worth watching if you're a fan of The D. Tim Robbins seems to be pretty good at playing long haired weirdos.

I'm still trying to enlarge my music collection. At this point I've broken everything down into four seperate categories:...

Yeah, I usually don't watch deleted scenes, but the ones in High Fidelity are pretty choice. The only reason I even know how good they are is because I have it on VHS (old skool!) and it's one of those "Stay tuned after the feature presentation!" type deals and I was eating a sandwich or something and just let it run after the movie-proper ended.

What are those gravy-covered things that look like mochi? shocked
