Ok, the reason for no posts or answering of messages or friend request answering is lack of sufficient internet capabilities in my house! Sorry!
So I have officially started my travels, sitting in Sydney Central YHA currently at 8.30am after drinking much last night and not eating for almost 36 hours (stupid trees), so I have no idea why I am coherant at this hour.
But as they say, Carpe Diem!
I am actually not going to do much seizing of today, planning on taking it slow, have to go shopping for all the things I forgot to pack such as camera batteries and.... other things that I seem to have forgotten again. Ugh, I'm not too good at this backpacker thing so far haha.
I'm staying in Sydney until tomorrow lunchtime and then off to Byron Bay for a week of relaxation and playing on the beach, can't wait!
I'm hanging out with some Estonian boys that lived in Canberra for the past few months working and saving money to travel some more, and will meet up with them again in byron and probably a few more times up the coast. It's really fun to know people straight away, makes me feel a lot more comfortable.
I'm not exactly roughing it backpacker style yet, granted I do have a big motherfucking backpack with my life packed in for the next 5 weeks, but I'm staying in the Staff Flat in this YHA which has it's own bathroom and kitchen and loungeroom on the top floor. Best free accommodation and view in Sydney! The boys I'm with are doing the touristy thing today but I've been here so many times that I'm going to skip that and wait till I'm along the coast.
So I finished my first semester of uni last week! WOOOOOOOO! Exams were tough but I'm glad they are over, I didn't really do much in the past week, just drank and went out alot with my close friends, will miss them. Hung out with the kitten heaps too, already miss her as I'm used to sleeping with her and now I have nothing to cuddle. Planning on buying a teddy bear to sleep with, Yes I am that lame.
Anyway not much more to report as yet, will keep updating as my trip progresses and after today I will have batteries in my camera and will take tonnes of funtimes photos to share.
Oh and I'm now a blonde. Exciting stuff.

Sydney is heaps fun everytime I go there. It's a place that's got character to say the least.
