Hmmm... I haven't written anything in quite a while. Life has been pretty good lately, nothing that I can really complain about. One thing that I will say is I hate having friends that constantly dwell on the fact that they're single and how depressed they are about it and how they're life would be SO much fucking better if they had a girlfriend... the...

What a great weekend... Fri night at the Ministry of info with freinds I don't get to see very much and last night a great night of live traditional jazz (none of that elevator smooth jazz shit) at Ortlieb's (3rd and Poplar). So good!!! Watching Noel get drunk off of Long Island ice tea's and making fun of the guys sitting across the way who...

What a great night last night... good times with friends I don't get to see very often. Went to one of my favorite bars in the city... The Ministry of Information (5th and Poplar). One of the best jukeboxes anywhere and we had control of it all night. Started off with some Fugazi "Styrofoam" and "Greed" then fIREHOSE "Chemical Wire" and "Relating Dudes to Jazz"...

I'm in the process of reading a book called "The Rescue Artist" by Edward Dolnick. It's about the real life theft of Edvard Munch's famous painting "The Scream" in 1994 (as well as other art heists). 2 men armed with nothing but a ladder, wire cutters and a hammer stole this painting from the second story of Norway's national museum in under two minutes! Unbelievable!...

I can't wait to hear the new Supergrass... "Life on Other Planets" was so good! Where is Portishead!? Why does Weezer suck so bad now!? Where is another Tool CD!? and Built to Spill!? New Flaming Lips this year... Yay! Why did Dismemberment Plan have to break up!? Why am I ranting tonight!? Oh well... therapeutic. The new Sleater Kinney (The Woods) is so F'in...

aaahhhhhh saw The Arcade Fire tongiht at the Paramount, a very old theater. It was a great show, my second time seeing them, though I didn't actually see the whole show since i had GA tickets and was sitting on the floor in the back with my daughters sleeping head on my lap for bits. Then andnowmiguel or my friend Thad would come take my spot and I would dance. smile

We have lots of the same interests. You should really try to get a good copy of Legend of Zu. It's just really incredible.

I love Go too...and Eternal Sunshine is a favorite of mine also. I wish we had more room on our profiles for more movies and music...

I'm sleepy, I'm glad you're here.

na night,
xo

Thanks... glad to be here as well. I feel the same about the profile space. Many, many more movies and music to list. Arcade Fire is very good. Have yet to see them live but hopefully soon. I'm going to see Nada Surf at the T.L.A. (ok venue) Oct. 5th... can't wait! Their new CD is good but if you haven't heard their last called "Let Go" I think you should... amazing, indie pop at it's finest. I believe a friend has a good copy of Zu but I keep forgetting to ask him for it. Now I'll remember. Have you ever seen Storm Riders? Almost the same cast of actors and much in the same vain as Zu. I think you you'd like it. Glad to hear from someone with such similar tastes as myself. Have a nice night... er, morning... whatever

Life always throws such interesting things at you. My life has changed so much over the past year and a half that I feel like I hardly know who I am anymore. Not that I dont like me anymore, in fact quite the opposite. I think that everything Ive gone through has made me see things in a new light the world is changed for...
