...this bad boy with some medical info. I have something called hypogammaglobulinanemia, or common variable immune deficiency. Basically it means, my immune system does not produce white blood cells or other infection fighting sub cells, like IgA and IgG. I get blood infusions to treat this but their is no cure. My body simply doesn't make enough blood cells. Four Years or so ago I came down with an infection that nearly killed me, osteomyelitis. Its an infection of your bones. I have been battling that ever since, which is also why my girlfriend left, so I have been fighting it alone. I get blood infusions once a week now, because of the vicious infection, my body uses up the cells almost faster then they can be put in. I have been on antibiotics for years trying to keep myself alive. They are all but out of antibiotics to treat me with, it may be impossible to cure me now. That being said, I have a peripherally inserted central catheter, or PICC line, through which I have been getting antibiotics. Its a catheter straight into my chest, that combined with surgery was supposed to cure me, but because of an insurance problem, my surgery was delayed six weeks, and I got very sick while they denied my treatment. So the surgery failed and the doctor suspended my treatment until the next surgery...I am pretty sick at the moment. I live with my family because I can no longer work to take care of myself, but they are not very interested at all in caring for me, in four years not one of them has sat by my side while I ran I high fever, and I am up all night alone which is why I get to talk to you fine ladies from the UK. I thought you guys might want the full story since you followed me = )
