Ok: Let's update you on what's goin' down in 'tron town - bullet style, yo.
:: My animation project was shown at the local indpendant cinema along with a bunch of guys work from my class. What we didnt know what that is was a competition for local colleges and universitys for 'most promising greasy filmamaking upstart' - or something. My buddy Simon won best animation, and rightly so. I'll try and get him to youtube his work, as it really was very lovely. The feedback for my animation was that it was very striking and had a great use of colour. Thaaaaanks. At least they liked it.
:: Worrying about money over christmas made me look into applying for another credit card, but I opted against it in the end. I'm working lots of overtime plus- my mum is sending me my xmas money earlry, so it looks like xmas has narrowly avoided being cancelled.
:: I'm cooking something up in conjuction with antenna for my next uni project. Nothing terribly flashy, I'm just making some animated menues for a promotional DVD of his short films. Things are moving a bit slow with it, as I've been a bit busy fretting and fussing about money and such.
:: If I get some time over xmas, I'll be starting work on a animation about zombies. Just a one of skit is planned so far. I should also get started on the project that I began with the animation you've already seen of the city-monster and his hideous robot army. The concept has changed alot, and is a bit more subtle and less juvenile.
