May is National Foster Care Month. Our family took in newborns up to toddlers and siblings for 15 years. We retired after adopting two of the children who had severe physical and special needs. I will say a prayer for everyone in Foster Care and hope they achieve everything the are looking for in life.

I have needed MAJOR surgery on my spine for about seven or eight months now. The final date had been up in the air until a phone call late yesterday setting surgery at Thursday at 10:45!!!

I will be having two discs removed and spacers placed in between. Over time the discs will fuse together.
