I'm not in the mood at all... Dinner will sure help: I put maggots in my soup tonight. Then, for dessert: some well-jammed flies. What about your dinner, folks? ... Is your mom warming up old manicotti? or hamburger casserole?

Hello Tororo,

I had a feeling about your cranial scars. I had figured that they would be more obvious in your picture if they were an intentional decoration. Being unfamiliar with the word "trepanning" and unable to discover its meaning at the time I last wrote, I had begun to think that the scars were an interesting metaphor for such facial features as eyes, ears, nose, etc.

Do you really think that people on this site are so focussed on the modification of their bodies? After becoming a member on this site, I did some research into the nomenclature of body piercing. Doing so also brought to light many images of those more extreme modifications that I had only heard of in passing. I would have to say that, by comparison, it would seem that the people I have interacted with are not as "extreme" as that. Conversely, I have no real modification and, thus, by compasrison there are many who are seemingly much more interested. hhmm

Current crush for a book: The Kingdoms of Elfin, by Sylvia Townsend Warner.
It's, like, heroic fantasy.... written as Henry James or Virginia Woolf could have.
I wonder if I'm not in love with Sylvia Townsend Warner. Please, don't be jealous, Suicidegirls: she died in1978, aged 85. What I learned about her by reading the preface of her novel Lolly Willowes (a strange edwardian novel),...

Who? Cuz, if it was me, that makes my day. Of course, if it was Mr. T, then that's nice too.

morgan:
jose: It was mr. T here's entry, he is the most fantabulous person that ever lived (one of them). But...you're entire journal makes my day, in a way that i will explain the very second i go make an comment on it...which will be RIGHT NOW!

P.S. - Mr T- the college thing is worked out, it looks like. I'll have to take out a loan, but i can go, thank god. I though you should be the first (well, second, i told nick) to know.

After discovering Morgan's new incarnation, I got a new fantasy: the whole population of Earth is replaced by zillions of Morgans. And there is nothing boring nor worrying about that, 'cause they are all completely different but equally wonderful.

Nobody has to worry about the possible impact on ecosystem of this change.
Besides of the obvious positive global consequences, it would have but positive side...

Hmmmmmmm.
Someone started a thread about the Eels. Good thing.
...

Hate a lot of things
But I love a few things
And you are one of them

Hard to believe
After all of these years
But you are one of them

Walk down the street
I'm thinking:
Everybody move along
I've got a sad-hearted needing
to belong

....none too picky about means to win an argument.

Tororo,
I would be inclined to guess that this is an instant, in which, one more closely associated with the subject at hand would be better suited to narrow the options as such. I tend to be one to offer far too many avenues, being of an analytical nature. Unfortunately, I have come upon too many such logical forks-in-the-road and spent more time than I would have liked pondering the merits of each path, retrospectively.

My ambition will be, from now on, to obtain for each entry ay least one comment as heartening as was the first one ... a challenge, indeed!

Morgan, what I lack in this picture is my pipe for looking like a pipe-smoking wizard friend. smile

Well, now I feel particularly unobservant. That disappoints me, slightly. Although, I suppose it has been several years since I watched it and I did only see it once ... but that is no excuse ...
I think I will take note of this place in France. One day I hope to visit Europe, I may very well find my way there in such an event.
Interestingly enough, I am not really much of a mathematician. I have completed enough college course work to receive a mathematics minor with my B.S. of biomedical engineering, but I am no where near the level of knowledge I would associate with the title Mathematician. As far as the favorite book, it is merely the only text I have considered reading completely and I do not seem to be to drawn to many other books. I seem to be drawn more to browsing magazines. I have a short attention span when staring solely at text.

I had no idea what to put in this window...
Then I thought: I will quote a song by Morrissey, just in case some person who likes quoting lyrics comes visiting;

Used to be a sweet boy
holding so tightly
to Daddy's hand
but that was all
in some distant land
Blazer and tie
and a big bright healthy smile
used to make all
of...
