i got flowers from a coworker today, just because she said i seemed a little off this week. it's funny what you project towards people sometimes... but i love my crew, they take good care of me.
so tonight was spent toward the betterment of other people's lives... i did laundry for the boy, made some cd's for amy (hers got kited in a smash and grab down in esco) and a special something for Rotten Sockets , who, after seeing what i made for her will think i'm the coolest person ever. or at least for this week.
My time spent with my old friend from a few years back was interesting, and a little sad.. funny how people change as they age, especially if they have a child. she's really happy being a mom, staying at home, blah blah blah... i think i would feel at a loss with that being the only thing to define me, with no end in sight. to each their own i guess... though i almost got up and bolted when she said she had started going to church regularly again. i don't know what it is about organized religion that makes me so uncomfortable.
my new camera is great. decided to go digital after all.. i got a canon rebel 300 eos. i'm excited to give it a try, told lots of my friends that i'd shoot their band photos, portraits, bat mitzvah... whatever. sometimes it's nice to feel like you have a hobby that shows appreciable results, almost instantly.
Question: how late do you normally want to sleep in? (hint: if anyone calls my house before 10, yer dead! arr!
