Last night was the first night I spent alone in... over a month. It. Was. Devine.
Of course I missed the boy. But how lovely to stretch your naked self across the bed diagonally and watch most of a season of Queer as Folk while piggin' out on no-tuna noodle casserole and chocolate.
At one point, I think I just left my finger in my nose for an hour. Because I could. I sent e-mails to people I haven't corresponded with in FOREVER. I just sat and read my newest Isabel Allende aquisition and listened to the ice come down. Did I mention how exquisite this whole affair was?
Sometimes I really just like spending time with myself... Correction: Wasting time with myself. playing with all the pores on my legs, picking my tonails, slathered in lotion with moisturizing masque on my face. Snuggling with my beloved cats who amuse me to no end.
Would I want this every night? Absolutely not. Was it spectacular to revive my independency and privacy? Abso-fucking-lutely.
