I was thinking about uploading some pictures... The sucky thing is that my dig cam is broken right now so they will ALL be old.
Summer school starts on Monday...BOOOO. I'm taking a class on East Asian Theatre with a really good but very scary and mean prof. He and I don't get along too wel.. mad
Hmmm... I missed the NC zoo trip today 'cause I'm poor and my friend canceled on me and I got into a little accident last night. Poop.
I got a twisted weave for the play last weekend. It's HILARIOUS but also a little ridiculous. I wanted to keep it for a while (It took 7 1/2 hours) but my hair is just too fine. It's poppin' out all over the place.

thnx for the generosity topaz. anyway, east asian theater... if you havent ever seen 'em, you should rent double suicide and kwaidan--both based on tenets of east asian theater. they're completely fucking incredible films that are super-inspiring. if you can't find 'em nearby, i'd be happy to help get you hooked up.

there's also this gorgeous experimental adaptation of the orphan of zhao that i saw last fall. it was a brilliant contemporary take on a classic chinese work. you may be able to find info on it on lincoln center's website. i think they archive info about their shows. it was part of a festival though, so i can't guarantee it.

Yes, let me know when you post pics of either the faerie, or the rest of your intertwined leaves. I'm eager to see them. Thank you very much for the compliment. The thing I strive for is unity and having tattoos that fit my body. I'm not done - not by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't want to ruin anything by needling myself with something too big or too gaudy, nor at the same time do I want to be too stingy or avoid taking risks. I've been inspired by a lot of the truly beautiful work I've seen on this site, both on men and women.

I look forward to seeing more of your designs. Got anything else planned in the next year or so, inkwise?
