I would die if i could never get in a pit at a show thats the best part. Occasionally you will get some big asshole guy who plays too rough just cause he thinks he has gotta show off. Taxes are a funny thing, and probably quite a difference between claiming for business or personal use, would there be anywhere like a library or job center or something similar that might have a leaflet with a list of things you can claim? With business claims, I've found there are lots of things that are claimable, but some in strange ways, for example... If I was to travel to london for an SGUK meet, I could always fib and say that I was meeting clients, thus making the travel a business expence, and I'd then be able to claim back fuel or train fare, but nothing for food. However, if I was to make the same trip but stay overnight, I'd be able to claim not only the travelling expences, but also hotel fees and meals, so it's really just a case of knowing what you can claim legitimately, and then making it fit your situation Thinking about it, there's probably an IRS website with a list of allowable expences
