did you know I have three dogs?! and each of them outweigh me 😂

Tarly (black newfy) was the only one planned of the bunch. 5 Christmas’s ago, my MIL had a new puppy at our Christmas gathering. That puppy was Drama (brown newfy on the left). I fell in love with her instantly. My husbands mom told us there were littermates still & we immediately went to meet the pups. I immediately chose the clumsy fluff ball of the three. As we drove an hour home, we decided to name him Tarly. Like Samwell from A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones). He was a clumsy goofy sweetheart, but we knew he’d be big and strong.

We then got Scarlett (English mastiff on right) from my MIL. Scarlett is special, she was supposedly diagnosed with canine autism as a puppy. No clue if that is legit, I’ve read different things! Anyways, Scarlett was living in a home with 4 other dogs and was not doing well. She was loved so much but the sounds and commotion and action was far too much for her. We offered to let her stay with us and Tarly, a much quieter home. She hasn’t left since! She needs to do things in a particular order, the faintest sounds make her runs, if things are moved around in the house she gets very anxious. Buuut over the years she has settled down a bit and gained a silly personality.

About a year ago my MIL health started deteriorating & she was looking to rehome Drama so she could get the attention she needs, even though it broke her heart. We immediately stepped in to adopt her. Such an easy transition. She still gets to see her first mama.
