I'm currently having a slightly crappy day. Today I hit 30. I was hoping for a big celebration, meeting friends maybe going out for dinner. Instead I've just finished a 12 hour shift and I'm still in the Falkland Islands, alone because this weekend is when everybody decided to have the weekend off. At least I've not go long left here. Skype chat with my new gf definitely lifted my spirits but it has not been the way to see in ones 30th.
