Hanging out with a friend outside his apartment yesterday, talking about trucks and gear. I turn around and find this sticker behind me on a tree, and it touched my heart, mostly being a former Emergency Medical Technician.
I’m scheduled to recertify my AED/CPR/First Aid tomorrow.

I am trained as a rescuer, but I don't work in the area yet. And I just dropped out of nursing school to become a nursing technician and then I go back to college!I love healthcare

Ah ok. Yeah, definitely could use more healthcare workers, mostly with Covid and everything going on in the world. The United States has a huge lack of EMT's and paramedics, if there was monumental catastrophe requiring a nationwide triage system, there wouldn't be enough front line workers to support it. The US EMS system is figuring that out before it's too late. Have several friends that are nurses, they work long and tireless shifts. Their benefits and vacation time make up for all that. Keep up the great work, and keep kickin' ass!
