*I haven't blogged in ages, as I have been busy with assignments and revision.*
I feel really motivated at the moment, when I turned 21 I made a list of 5 things I wanted to achieve this year and all of these goals look like they will be reached soon enough, with a bit more work and effort. I feel that for once in my life everything is set up for me to succeed and that what I want is obtainable. This year has been very hard for a number of reasons(I've pretty much gone from one problem to another for most of the year), but it's probably been the best year of my life so far, thanks to me living to tell the tale.
I am 22 in 10 days time (May 31st) although due to the exams I'll probably wait until I've finished before celebrating the fact that I am very old. The weather is always good on my birthday, so the rain will soon stop albeit briefly! My 'rents will probably not buy me anything until I move out as I will want all manner of domestic type things in a few months, plus I don't really want anything exciting. I want to buy lots of clothes instead.
I've been listening to Arcade Fire's Neon Bible a lot recently. I loves it. I have also been listening to The Velvet Underground and lots of Hendrix thanks to the BBC programmes on him at the weekend. I've also got a good playlist on my iPod featuring Sam Cooke, Amy Winehouse, Morrissey, The Shins and Pink Floyd.
