You were missed, believe me. Jay & everyone else modifed my har, so i looked like Penn Jillette. got to hang out, meet some interesting people. I think Jay had a blast.

I don't think i said anything stupid, but that's the kind of thing i never hear about until way afterwards, anyway. I dunno i think i behaved. And looked stylin' & profilin'.

CAT scan was today. Now we wait for the result as to whether it's coming out or not. Tom Petty said it best - the waiting is the hardest part. I have, however, come to accept things and am ready to just move it forward.

Sorry you can't make it. I'm just getting progressively nervous about it as it gets closer, oddly enough. It's weird. Anyway, hope it goes well at Jeff's parents'.

Your mom sounds like my mom, only yours actually says what she means. Except that one time she told me i'd end up old & alone. That was fun. Anyway, just be true to yourself, i guess. Your life, your decisions, all that classic stuff. Things could actually improve when she leaves the state; buffer zones are cool. And i know i'm saying nothing of note, but i dunno, parents seem to have a universal crazy gene.

RE my blog: yeah, Ambien isn't a good thing to blog on. But yeah, was a fun/odd weekend.

I got a lot of shit for being in LC last weekend & not coming by. They weren't even THERE, of course, but the thought counts or something. I don't know. I think parents are just inherently batshit crazy, for better or worse. I hope it gets better when she actually moves, though. At least in my case, i'm not really worth a lot of long distance fees just to bitch at.

I'll take interesting. It was great seeing you, & i really hope i wasn't terribly embarrassing or obnoxious. I remember most of the evening, but still. I would rather be interesting than bad, i guess. And i'm glad i'm not a lush. Really makes me feel better.

The fifth is a Monday, right? I'd love to attend whatever it is, i'd just need a ride to wherever. I'm still working out various things, been an odd couple days.
