i'm moving too, on the 20th. to MA with my two kitties. definatly the biggest move i have ever done. gulp!
As some of you know hubby, roomy (omeganightmare) and I are moving in the next month or two to Petaluma for shorter commutes for the guys. I, of course, will need to find a whole new job, but I'm totally not complaining.

Packing in advance is smart. I've moved a half dozen times over the last few years, and moving day has been a mad scramble to get things done every time.

I had a really good weekend this weekend. Jeff and I went to Minden, Nevada to visit his grandparents. The normally 3 hour drive, took us technically 7 hours though. My 4th of July was...eh. I worked for 4.5 hours with two of the ditsy-est chicks I know Then I came home to an empty apartment. At least I could see fireworks from my back porch, that was pretty cool AND Jeff will be home early tonight , of course it'll still be at least midnight before I see him, but good stuff anyway!
Friends are weird like that. I've been thinking about a cople of mine the same way. My theory is, if they're important, you should try to keep them around, even as an aquaintance. Nothing sucks more than someone you know turning into someone you used to know, in my opinion. All i can say is you should be honest with her. Or maybe kill her with kindness.
Yeah, they were out in full force. It got really quite for about two hours, then i heard a LOUD explosion outside that caused every car alarm in three blocks to go off. It was amazing. I fully expect more pyro tonight.
I wouldn't say give up but sometimes peoples life's become very diffrently and even though they care about friends they get really wrapped up with whats on there immediate plate. I've been in both situations and sometimes it's just best to walk away for a little while until the contact you again. Said friend could be taking advantage of your calling and such but once you stop realized she's being kinda crappy? Who knows! Well I know this you where missed last night! I wanna play apples to apples more!
