A friend of mine got proposed to recently. I was almost happy for her until I found out how the douche bag went about it. See...he's not a cool guy. Don't get me wrong, he doesn't ever hurt her, and hasn't cheated on her, he's just what we fondly refer to as a "poop-dick". They made an awesome kid together, I'll give him credit for that, but it just so happens as he was conceived on like their second date. I'm pretty sure they're only together out of feelings of necessity.

Anyway, with that being said, he started out with a cute idea. He did it on Easter, and hid the ring behind an egg their son was supposed to be trying to find. When he found the ring, he was told to "go show it to mommy" which he did. When she saw the ring, she looked at poop-dick and said "well, what's this?"...to which he replied "take it for what you want it for". To which SHE replied "what does that mean? Is it a gift? Is it an engagement ring?" (mainly asking because it wasn't the ring they had decided on in the first place). And he said again "just take it for what you want it for, it's for why you would want a ring." And never once said the words "will you marry me" let alone "i love you" or even "good run kid".

This just confirms to me that he's a douche and she deserves WAY better.
