why are games so time consuming?

and not just video games but the book i'm working on too. 218 pages of fairly dense text with only a few graphics right now. The finished version should be pushing 350-400 pages.

uhg this weekend was rough.
It started on thursday night, when geekgurl returned home from the beach completely covered in sunburn. So I got to sleep on the couch, as so to not accidently cuddle with the sunburn.
Friday comes around and it's hectic. oh man is it hectic. Some bad stuff happened over the week and we were in cleanup/prevention mode at work.

dinner was a delicious meal of salmon with a touch of saffron, some butter, capers, lemon and some white wine. and it went well with the rest of the bottle of white wine and another.
